Climate Keeper 12" Oscillating Desk Fan

The Climate Keeper 12" Desk fan is...well, a fucking fan.

It's got a nice, sleek look to it, and is stylish enough not to be out of place in an office or at a home desk set up. It comes with three different speeds easily controllable through buttons at the base. The fan has the ability to rotate a full 90 degrees from it's farthest left or right position.

The fan is powerful, but when set to rotate. The fan is slow to pan from side to side on low and seems to be a bit faster on it's highest setting.

Beyond that, there isn't much to say about the fan. As I said before, it's basically just a fan. It's not particularly small, or portable, and requires some minor assembly. It fits on most desks and dressers. In summer this thing will keep you cool but like most fans, is useless in winter.

All in all...it's meh. Nothing really special about it, but it doesn't have any real drawbacks either. After having it for a while, would I buy it again? Sure, if it was in my local store, but otherwise, no. I wouldn't go out of my way for this product.

I'll give it a 3.4/5. If you really want to buy it for some reason you can pick it up at Big Lots or on their website

Evolution Power Plus

Disclaimer: Everything written here is from personal experience and experimentation. Take it with a grain of salt. Well, now that I can't be sued for writing this, let's get on with the review shall we?

I'm just gonna come out and say it. This thing is, in my opinion, a piece of shit. Outright. The seller claims a 2600mAh capacity. On an IPhone 4, which I own and have tested this on, there is a battery that has a 1420 mAh battery.

When I attempted to charge my phone battery, after completely charging this power bank. The stored power in the power bank ran out around 52%. This means that I only got back about 710 mAh, but worse than that, It also means that this thing is approximately 27% efficient. What the actual fuck?!

This thing also heated up pretty intensely while it was charging which makes me think that indeed, it is highly inefficient. I've seen gimmicky "solar power banks" on Youtube with higher experimental efficiency ratings than this thing.

To this thing's credit, the rest of the claims on the manufacturer's website hold up. It does charge phones and small electronics, albeit not very well, in my opinion ,it looks nice with the metal finish, and the LEDs accurately indicate how much power is left in the thing.

But with that said, power banks don't have to be that durable. Call me crazy but generally, treat your power bank as carefully as you treat your phone's screen and it'll be more than fine. The two are usually not far when you're out and about. A power banks entire job is to store power and give it back to you when you need it.

This thing, in my experience, sucks at its job. The best attribute of this power bank is being able to take a beating that it, in most cases, it shouldn't be suffering in the first place. This is a power bank that fails at it's one and only job, and succeeds at the one it will never be given.

Avoid this product if you're looking for a power bank that can fully recharge your IPhone, Samsung etc. If you have a flip-phone, slider, or really any "dumb phone" then go for it. Actually, don't any other power bank is still a better choice.

Found it going for $29,99 on Amazon (who are they shitting come on we all know it's $30) and $34.99 on the manufacturer's website as of the day of this posting. You wouldn't want to buy it, so i'm not going to link it.

  • The included key-fob attaches to your keys, bag and more, so important files are never out of reach
  • The 32GB HP v165w USB Flash Drive lets you store, transfer and share your files the easy and smart way
  • The 32GB v165w can hold approximately 5,632
  • Compatible with most PC and Mac laptop and desktop computers
  • Free technical support

TL;DR 4.0/5.0 It's definitely a cut above the rest especially for the price, however construction leaves something to be desired. But if you're gentle with it, you'll be fine.

As far as micro-sized goes, this flash drives is superbly tiny about an inch to an inch and a half long. As far as an "ergonomic body" goes, it doesn't hurt to hold, but then again most flash drives don't. Their data storage, not controllers or input devices. Not really an important point.

The included fob on the end is...frustrating to get on a thick key ring, if yours isn't thin then you'll have a hard time getting it on.

The flash drive has amazing storage space for it's extremely small size. As for as it's free technical support...never used it, never needed too, it's a god damn flash drive.

Warning: The flash drive can come out from the plastic that it's housed inside so be careful when removing this flash drive from usb ports.

TL;DR : 3.8/5, it won't give you an eargasm, but won't disappoint either. You'll be satisfied for the price of (currently) $20 + shipping
Edit:  2.0/5.0 it won't give you an eargasm and it won't last long. Save the twenty bucks plus shipping and try getting one from a local electronics store, or a Big Lots, or something

2nd Edit: 2.8/5.0 It won't give you an eargasm and it hasn't lasted long so far. Twenty bucks plus shipping isn't bad if it breaks and you use the warranty,  As far as bang for your buck it's about on par with the local stuff with the warrenty. The only extra credit it gets is it's magnetic necklace feature.

As far as the "first-class sound experience goes" the Parkman isn't quite first-class. Its sound quality is comparable to most mid-level bluetooth sound devices.

Its auto-connect feature works well, and it can automatically connect with two different devices with a period of delay between them. This delay will also become apparent when attempting to switch between audio sources such as between a computer and an IPhone.

The battery life is by far the strongest feature. With a single charge lasting almost an entire day and into the night as well. One thing that they do not mention is that these headphones take about two hours to charge. Which isn't long, but if you're someone who is consistently listening to audio on earbuds, it would be wise to carry a power bank that can charge it.

The buttons on this particular headset are laid out confusingly. When upright, with the cord running behind the back of the head, as per the manual's instructions, the volume down button is on the top, and the volume up button is on the bottom. It's organized as though it was to be used sideways, but this isn't the case seeing as how close the button interface is to the right earpiece.

The magnetic necklace feature isn't all it's cut out to be. The magnets that hold them in the necklace form are rather weak and come apart all too easily. Multiple times I've used this feature only to find one side all the down and the headphones themselves hanging on by the other end.

It has a stated maximum range of 10 meters, I haven't personally measured this but in an enclosed space, you don't have to go very far for the signal to begin getting choppy. The noise-cancelling claimed on seller's page does a good job at canceling out ambient noise. But it won't do anything for sudden noises.

Overall, the Parkman is comparable to many other generic, but decent bluetooth earbuds. The niche feature in the form of the magnetic necklace is not useful because it simply doesn't work well.

When it comes to this specific bluetooth earbud headset, I am no more likely to buy this headset again than I am to purchase one from their competitors. This headset is usually about $60 on Amazon, but it's currently going for about 19.99 plus shipping.

Don't bother buying it here

Edit 8-27-16: Welp, only a month after I had ordered this thing off of Amazon it's broken. Sporadically disconnects if you mess with the  casing with the buttons on it. This thing lasted a shorter amount of time than most of my wired headphones. That's unacceptable...this thing's rating is going down.

2nd Edit 9-15-16: Alright, after I got the replacement from the company. The thing stop working and I had to let it sit for a day before it finally began working today, has been working for the entire day, will update if it breas again
